MRS. WISHY-WASHY ART
Here is an art activity we did this week to go along with Mrs. Wishy-Washy's Christmas.
...and a class book that's become a fast favorite
CHRISTMAS ART
Mitten Cards
At one station, students made a Christmas card using mini clothespins, folded stock paper, elasticized string, and a mitten template.
Students colored the mittens, cut them out, and pinned them onto the "clothesline".
'Stained Glass' Painting
At another station, students used different colored paint in each section of a picture to emulate stained glass.
Christmas Tree Card
Students received a piece of scrapbook paper with this template on the back:
They cut out the strips and glued them onto folded cardstock, leaving a little space between each strip.
I love your card ideas! Very cute and fun, I will have to remember them for next year.
