Last week my students decorated Indian corn, and we added them to the collaborative turkey Thanksgiving bulletin board {here}.
Students started by coloring and cutting out the template of the corn, found {here} from DLTK-Kids.
I set out paper plates with different colored paint and Q-tips on them.
Students dabbed dots of paint onto the corn to create the different-colored 'kernels'.
Since they were only using Q-Tips, it was my favorite kind of craft = one with no messy clean-up :)
Final product, drying in the sunshine.
