SMACKERS! Number Recognition Math Game for Kindergarten

Today in Math, we played a fun game I've called Smackers.

This game was a fun way to practice number recognition!

I started by putting 3 students at each table.

Here are my students in their starting positions:

Hands are flat on the table in front of themselves.

The number cards are in random order on the table in front of them:

When I called out a number, students had to SMACK the number with their hands. The first one to smack the correct number got to keep the card. Play continued until all of the numbers were called. Then students counted how many cards they had in their pile to determine the 'winner'.
