Learning About the Seasons

Part of our learning about Awesome Autumn was a review of the four seasons, and how they are all unique.

We started by doing a picture sort on the pocket chart.

Students took their pictures and sorted them into the column that it belongs in.

We also read some great non-fiction books about each season, and saw how weather and temperature affect our surroundings.

This word search was a fun way to highlight some seasonal vocabulary:

And we colored some of the fall coloring pages to give our families for Thanksgiving.
