On their day, they brought it to school and presented it to the class:
My name is _____.
My name starts with letter ____.
It makes the sound _____.
I have my students fill in a page to show what they've brought, and when everyone has had their turn we make it into a class book.
I am always amazed that my students are such great secret-keepers, and NEVER tell anyone what they've brought!
Over the years my students have brought in some great items!
This year a girl in my class whose name starts with 'T' brought in tinsel from her Christmas tree. Love it!
Love this idea! The students must love keeping what's inside their bag a secret. :)
