I am linking up once again with my favorite blogging friends to share some fabulous bright ideas for your classroom!
My tips are about keeping the class volume under control.
Start with some letters that spell the word NOISE.
I used some sparkly craft paper and added magnetic adhesive strips to the back so it can go on my magnetic board. Of course it will work on a pocket chart or even written on a chalkboard just as well!
Remove one letter from the word each time the voice noise level gets too loud.
Much nicer looking than putting up strikes on the board...
and the class gets some chances to work on taking control of their noise.
When it gets to NO, there is NO more talking allowed.
When it gets too loud in the classroom, just whack the bell, and the students all stop what they're doing and whisper "Whisper Bell". It is a great reminder for them to keep their voices down!

This is absolutely fabulous! Love, Love, Love. We have a HUGE problem with noise in my classroom this year and while they've improved quite a bit- we still need reminders and this visual will be just wonderful for my special bunch! :) Thank you :)
