Telling the Easter Story Using Plastic Eggs Filled With Story Clues

Every year at this time I use plastic Easter Eggs to tell the story.

They are dollar store plastic eggs, which I've pre-filled with a few simple items. After I read the story I ask them what they think is in the egg, as a representation of the story. They LOVE to guess!!!

Jesus was buried in a tomb. On the third day, HE AROSE:
