Here are a few more fun activities we've done for the Daily 5.
LISTEN TO READING
I purchased an iPad and I bring it to school for listen to reading.
Students choose a story from a set I purchased that has QR codes. I just scan the code & the story comes up. Simple!
After they listen to the story, they fill in a page that assesses their comprehension and ability to map the story.
WORD WORK
I've purchased a lot of great sets that I use for word work. In the picture above, students are doing an activity from Sight Word Sticks {here}.
In this activity, students are working on blends by writing the words from the picture cues, from {here}.
READ WITH A PARTNER
then practice some more as they roll, read, and highlight.
