This year I wanted to have a Focus Board in the classroom. It's right at the front of the classroom, so you can't miss it! I love how it is way to keep all learning topics in a central, visible spot in the classroom.
I love how it shows anyone who walks in the classroom what we are learning about. I love how it is a way to display charts that act as mini anchor charts to provide that extra reinforcement where needed, especially for those who could use the extra reminders or for those who are visual learners.
I was very inspired by these beautiful boards I discovered from various talented bloggers...

ReplyDeleteLove your board! What font did you use for the headings? Also, what size is the background white page? Do you have this as a link to purchase?
ReplyDeleteHi Cherish, The font is called KG Seven Sixteen. The white backgrounds are just frames that I enlarged on a photocopier. I made them big, so that one quarter of each square is on one 8.5"x11" page. The frame is a free download that I printed in black & white, you can find it here (I used the square one in this set): https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/FREE-Rainbow-Scalloped-Frames-Graphics-for-Commercial-Use-600603
