April is National Poetry Month!

April is national poetry month!

So this month in writing, we will be working on ten different and unique types of poems.

First students will see samples of the types of poems.

Then they'll work on their own using graphic organizers.

The final draft will go on a writing template.

Some templates even include space for illustrations!

This poetry writing set is a perfect supplement to a writing program, or to incorporate into a writing center!
