Camp Contraction {practice with contraction learning}

Contractions can be tricky to learn! So I put together a fun resource to help make learning about contractions a little easier :)

This anchor chart was hung on our Focus Board, as a visual reminder about what contractions are:

The activity pack features 8 ways to help with contraction learning.

WRITE THE ROOM

I posted cards around the classroom for students to find. The cards either had a contraction or 2 words that can be used to make a contraction.

Students had to find the cards and either make a contraction out of the two words or take the contraction and separate it into two words.

They recorded their answers on this page.
