I've always loved having a focus board where I can display what we're working on in class. It's a great reminder for the students...and for me :)

I've heard others call it an objective board, or an anchor chart display...but whatever you call it, it serves the same purpose!

I made a set of I Can Statement posters to go with the second grade Common Core standards. Then I made some for first grade...and recently I added Kindergarten! They're kid-friendly, and have the standards written on them for quick reference. 

I LOVE the 'I Can' language- it's so positive and encouraging for young learners!

I've bundled the ELA and Math standard posters for each grade, as a money-saving option.

I also made some CUTE reading strategy posters, and included 'I Can Statement' language to continue the theme. This set is good for K-2 as well!
