I've always loved using math mats as math centers in Kindergarten! (And my students did too!)
Many math mat packs are sold with a specific number on the mat, meaning you have to print 20 mats for 20 numbers...using tons of ink, laminating sheets, and time...not to mention having to store hundreds of mats!
So I made a pack of generic math mats for every season (it's fun to switch them out several times during the year!) I've even added 10 extras that can be used at ANY time of the year!
You only need to print (and store) one set because the pack uses cards to show the number to work on.
I've included several different types of cards, to differentiate learning. Students work on SO many skills: one-to-one correspondence, number recognition, counting, tallies, ten frames, and dominoes.
USING NUMBER CARDS
USING TALLIES
USING DOMINOES
USING TEN FRAMES
This pack includes numbers to 20, ten frames to 10, dominoes to 18, and tallies to 20.
Perfect to use as math centers, as work with a paraeducator, to leave for a sub, and more!
