ENEMY PIE
The book Enemy Pie by Derek Munson teaches lots of important lessons, such as conflict resolution, acceptance, and friendship. It's a great read aloud for First Grade and Second Grade! Enemy Pie, paired with these companion activities, helps students practice essential literacy and reading comprehension skills in a fun and engaging way.

An enemy moves into the neighborhood. Luckily dad has the perfect remedy to get rid of enemies-- Enemy Pie. Dad says to just spend an entire day with your enemy, then serve the enemy pie. Problem solved :) Your students will love how it actually works!
