We LOVE Fly Guy!
Fly Guy is a character in the book series by Tedd Arnold. He's a pet fly to his friend named Buzz. A strange friendship, sure. An unconventional pet for a boy, yes! But the books have great stories about this friendship, and your kiddos will love them too!
The books are beginner chapter books. Your new readers will be SO excited that they can read a real chapter book :) Plus, the books are so dang funny!

Students could work anywhere that was comfy...even under the tables!
I would do Fly Guy guided reading activities in later First Grade or early Second Grade for greatest success. Of course, there are always exceptions!
