THE POLAR EXPRESS

The Polar Express by Chris Van Allsburg is a must-read for primary grades in December! Students love the story of children hopping aboard a train to visit the North Pole to see Santa! They are likely familiar with The Polar Express movie, too! POLAR EXPRESS BOOK ACTIVITIES AND TEACHING IDEAS

It's fun to imagine what it would be like to join the children on the train. This activity has students designing their own train tickets to board the Polar Express.

Students love to imagine being transported along with the characters on their magical night-time adventure! In this activity, students are sequencing the story's order of events.
