In the story Bone Soup, three witches are very hungry, but they have nothing to eat. All that's left in their cupboard is a bone...the perfect ingredient to make bone soup!

They go door to door, trying to get their neighbors to donate some more ingredients for their soup. They have interesting neighbors, who donate some yucky ingredients! (Your students will LOVE it!)

Of course, that is what makes this spooky tale so delightful! The ingredients were added and the soup was made and shared by all. What a fun book to discuss themes of working together and sharing!
