GINGERBREAD MAN LOOSE IN THE SCHOOL BOOK ACTIVITIES & TEACHING IDEAS
The Gingerbread Man Loose in the School by Laura Murray has a class of students who have made a gingerbread man. As they wait for him to cool, they all head outside for recess...and the Gingerbread Man goes missing!
The Gingerbread Man wants to find the children, so he heads around the school searching for them. In the gym, he gets flattened by a ball and loses a toe. After being repaired by the school nurse, the gingerbread man finds himself inside a lunch bag belonging to the art teacher. He winds up in the principal's office. The principal shows the gingerbread man the missing posters the class has hung around the school. He finds his way back to the classroom, where he is reunited with the class that made him. He knows that this is where he belongs, and everyone is happy they are together again.
