CAPS FOR SALE BOOK ACTIVITIES AND TEACHING IDEAS
Caps for Sale tells the story of a peddler, who had caps for sale. He carried them around in a big, tall stack...on top of his head!
After a long day of trying to sell his caps, the paddler took a rest, sleeping for a long time.
When he awoke, there was a BIG problem. All of his caps were gone!
He looked up into the tree and saw that it was full of monkeys. And the monkeys were wearing his caps!
The peddler was angry. He told the monkeys to give the caps back, and shook a finger at them. The monkeys mimicked his actions, shaking their fingers at him!
The same thing happened when the peddler shook both his hands, stamped his foot, and stamped both his feet. This made him even angrier at the monkeys.
The peddler was so angry he took off his cap and threw it onto the ground. Can you guess what the monkeys did then?
