PIG THE WINNER
Our favorite pug is back in Aaron Blabey's book Pig the Winner. In this book we see that Pig the pug will stop at nothing to win!
Yes, Pig the pug was a big cheater! He did everything he could in order to win. And if he was losing, he would throw a big temper tantrum!
When he lost, Pig was a very poor loser. When he won, he was a poor winner! He bragged and made the others feel badly about themselves.
It all came to a head when Pig decided to have an eating contest...who could eat their food the fastest. Can you guess what happened to Pig? Let's just say, it did not end well for him!
As always, his best friend Trevor comes to the rescue to help Pig in his troubles. Do you think that Pig has learned his lesson?
The book is written in a rhyming format, and this activity has students creating their own rhymes for some extra literacy practice.
This book activities unit is packed with Common Core aligned literacy companion activities to go with the book Pig the Winner by Aaron Blabey. Your students in Kindergarten and First Grade will LOVE Pig the pug!
