NO NO GNOME BOOK ACTIVITIES AND TEACHING IDEAS
In the story, the students at Greenthumb Elementary had been working on their garden all year long. They were ready to harvest, and were very excited!
Gnome was excited too! They got right to work...but Gnome proved to be very unhelpful! The teacher tried to give Gnome other tasks, but no matter what he tried, Gnome couldn't get it right.
The teacher sent Gnome back to the classroom. The students did not act friendly towards him. Gnome felt sad.
Gnome wanted to show his classmates that he was sorry. After school Gnome set out to the classroom garden and fixed it all up again. It looked better than before! The children were surprised, and they got to work harvesting the garden. And Gnome was helpful...mostly.
