PIG THE FIBBER
Pig the Fibber by Aaron Blabey features our favorite pug (and his best friend Trevor, of course). In this book, Pig the pug shows that he isn't always very truthful, often blaming poor Trevor for the problems that Pig causes.
Pig blamed Trevor for the dirty living room rug, the smashed vase, the ruined wedding dress, and the stinky toot. Poor Trevor wondered how his friend could act in this way.
When Pig tries to get a bag of dog biscuits from the closet, his plans take a turn. He ends up with an injury, and cannot blame Trevor for the incident. Will this be the way Pig learns to be a better friend...and more truthful?
This book study activities unit is packed with Common Core aligned literacy companion activities to go with Pig the Fibber by Aaron Blabey. It is perfect for Kindergarten and First Grade, and can be used during whole class learning, small group work, individual student work, or as part of a book club.
