CLICK CLACK PEEP BOOK ACTIVITIES AND TEACHING IDEAS

In the read aloud Click Clack Peep, a package arrives at the farm. Inside is an egg! Farmer Brown and the barnyard animals wait patiently to see what will happen to the egg...until finally it begins to hatch!

Out pops a Baby Duck! The barnyard animals are curious about the baby bird, but are exhausted from watching the egg for so long. They are ready for a good night's sleep. Except...babies don't sleep! Baby Duck peeped and peeped and peeped. The chickens tried to get Baby Duck to sleep by singing a lullaby. It did not work.

The cows lowered the shades. That didn't work either. The sheep knitted Baby Duck a blanket. Still Baby Duck peeped on.

The animals headed out of the barn to try and get some sleep outside. Duck had an idea! He took Baby Duck for a ride on Farmer Brown's tractor. He drove back and forth around the barnyard. It worked! Except that he drove through some crops and took out the fence. Oops!
