STANLEY, FLAT AGAIN BOOK ACTIVITIES AND TEACHING IDEAS
Stanley finds that being flat has some advantages. For example, when he was in a sailboat race and the sail ripped, Stanley acted as the boat's sail.
All of the doctors Stanley saw were unable to figure out what was causing Staley to be flat. Stanley began to feel disheartened by it all.
A building in town collapses, and a girl is trapped inside the rubble. They call on Flat Stanley to come to the rescue, as he is able to easily slip inside the wreckage and bring her some supplies.
Flat Stanley realizes that things happen for a reason, even though we may not realize why at first. Stanley believes he was made flat again so that he could help save the girl stuck in the rubble of the building.
Stanley became the town hero! In the midst of the cheers and clapping, Stanley gets poked and becomes round again. He makes the cover of the town newspaper, and his family is very proud of him.
