AMELIA BEDELIA'S FIRST APPLE PIE BOOK ACTIVITIES AND TEACHING IDEAS
Amelia Bedelia and her Granddad head to the farmers' market. In typical Amelia Bedelia fashion, Amelia Bedelia is confused about why they'd want to pick up Granny Smith, and why they'd go to a market that sells farmers. Amelia Bedelia and her Grandma set out to bake the pie. Amelia Bedelia passes her Grandma a flower instead of flour and sprinkled flour over their heads instead of the dough. Oh, Amelia!
Amelia Bedelia found a mini pie tin in Grandma's cupboard, and made her own mini apple pie in it. The apple pie was ready. Grandma set it outside to cool. A flock of birds found the pie and ate it all up!
Good thing Amelia Bedelia made her own mini apple pie! They all shared tiny portions of Amelia Bedelia's little pie, and it was delicious.
