JUNIE B JONES TOOTHLESS WONDER BOOK ACTIVITIES AND TEACHING IDEAS
Later, Junie B Jones is not so sure she wants to lose her tooth after all. She doesn't want to look like toothless Uncle Lou! She decides to not wiggle it anymore, and let it tighten itself up again. Junie's plan doesn't work. When Grampa Miller tries to see how wiggly her tooth is, she bites down on his finger...and her tooth comes right out!
Junie B Jones does NOT want to leave her tooth for the Tooth Fairy. She heard from Paulie Allen Puffer (who heard from his older brother) that the Tooth Fairy is actually a tiny tooth witch. The tooth witch rides into children's rooms on a tiny toothbrush and pinches their cheeks and eats the teeth left under the pillow.
Junie B decides not to leave her tooth under her pillow, as she isn't sure about the Tooth Fairy, and cannot understand what the Tooth Fairy would do with all of the teeth she collects. Back at school, Junie's classmates think she looks cool with a missing tooth, and persuade her to leave her tooth under her pillow for the Tooth Fairy. So what if the Tooth Fairy collects teeth? Her classmates collect baseball cards and matchbox cars. And as Lucille points out, who actually cares what the Tooth Fairy does with the teeth, as long as she leaves you some money.
That night, Junie B Jones leaves her tooth under her pillow. When she wakes up the next morning, she is delighted to see some CASH under her pillow where her tooth once was. Baby Ollie was not his usual fussy self that morning as his first baby tooth finally broke through. Junie B Jones believes that the Tooth Fairy recycled her tooth by giving it to her baby brother.
