TOPS AND BOTTOMS BOOK SYNOPSIS
Tops and Bottoms is a book about Bear, who had lots of money and lots of land, but no ambition. He was lazy! All Bear wanted to do is sleep. Along comes Hare, who was in need of food to feed his family. Hare devises a plan where he can plant on Bear's farm and split the harvest- one gets the top half and one the bottom half. Can you guess what happens next? Students will get a great lesson in how vegetables grow! Some food grows below the ground, some on the ground, and some above the ground. Clever Hare keeps tricking Bear so that he can keep the harvest, and soon has enough to feed his family.
