With this I Am Invited to a Party unit, students can enjoy a good story while working on engaging learning activities. Students learn about story elements, text to self connections, retelling the story, and the main idea or theme.
Students will visualize the story as they read, and on this worksheet, will illustrate their mental images.
This book study also has worksheets for comprehension, defining problems & solutions, giving opinions and advice, and interpreting the author's purpose.
Students will learn to make inferences, as they share what they think Elephant and Piggie are thinking in the story.
