WE'RE GOING ON A PUMPKIN HUNT BOOK ACTIVITIES AND TEACHING IDEAS
We're Going on a Pumpkin Hunt follows the same pattern as We're Going on a Bear Hunt, but with a fall twist! In this story, the animal friends are on a mission to find a pumpkin, the biggest one in town.
The animals head through a squeaking gage, past blinking night bugs, up a high mountain, through tickling grass, up a tree, and across a river. They're not scared! That is, until they enter a spooky pumpkin patch with a scary pumpkin-headed scarecrow. Then they reverse course and head back home. They decide to make their pumpkin pie using canned pie filling :)
